NewsTraffic increased last year on the back of ‘lockdown 2020’, but the ports are still facing challenges.
Changing Spanish practices
Stevedores in the Port of Valencia have been looking at ways of speeding up the changeover of shifts in an attempt to boost productivity. Although the measures appear to be marginal, they would mean that crane drivers work the whole of their nominal six-hour shifts.
