Road access the key to Trafaria

The Portuguese parliament has received a study undertaken on behalf of the Port of Lisbon Authority (APL) by consultants A T Kearney, which advocates the use of ferries to transport containers between the proposed new container terminal at Trafaria and the north bank of the Tagus river. It notes, furthermore, that its competitiveness as a port relies on road transport.
