CTH expansion deferred again

Expansion work at Eurogate’s Hamburg container terminal (CTH) was originally supposed to start in 2012, but was postponed due to the financial situation of the City of Hamburg and reduced container volumes through the port, which meant that insufficient investment funds were available for the Hamburg Port Authority (HPA).
