New plan for San Pedro

The government of Côte d’Ivoire has announced plans to expand the Port of San Pedro, which is currently mainly used to export cocoa. Investment totalling US$1.65B is sought for container, multipurpose, liquid bulk and iron ore terminals, which are to be developed and operated by private sector operators.
