Spanish stevedoring reforms

José Llorca, president of Spain’s national ports agency (Puertos del Estado), has stated that while changes will have to be made in the way that stevedoring services are provided in ports, he believes that elements of the existing system can also be retained. “We have some reforms that we must introduce. This is going to oblige us, without a shadow of doubt, to rethink the Spanish stevedoring model.”
