Freetown expansion deal for BAL

Bolloré Africa Logistics (BAL) has signed a contract with the government of Sierra Leone to expand the Port of Freetown. The announcement comes as welcome news to the country’s transport sector, after 18 months of disappointment for the mining sector, as low iron ore prices put other rail and port investment at risk.
