Funding for Dar es Salaam Gateway

Tanzania Ports Authority (TPA) has secured in excess of US$1B in funding to support its Dar es Salaam Maritime Gateway project. The plan aims to expand and improve the port’s position as one of the leading cargo handling gateways in East Africa. In addition to deepening, strengthening, modernising and revamping operations at berths 1-7, it will involve the development of three new wharves.
