Brazilian multimodal operator Log-In Intermodal Logistics has concluded the sale of the vessels LOG-IN TAMBAQUI and LOG-IN TUCUNARÉ to Hidrovias do Brasil. The deal was originally announced on 16th September With the sale, Hidrovias do Brasil assumes the transportation contract for Alunorte – Alumina do Norte do Brasil.
The buyer has assumed the debt on the vessels with the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES).
Log-In states that the proceeds from the sale will be used to improve liquidity and thus facilitate alternative plans to meet its medium and long-term obligations.
