Södertälje classified for IWW

Sweden’s Port of Södertälje has been classified as an EU inland waterways port, putting it on the same footing as the Mälarhamnar ports of Västerås and Köping, as far as inland waterway (IWW) vessels are concerned. Sweden introduced the EU regulations in December 2014. Göta älv, Vänern and Mälaren are examples of Swedish inland waterways.
