Canada-Hamburg trade booms as CETA arrives

Container traffic between Hamburg and Halifax has increased significantly in the lead up to the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) between the European Union and Canada that came into force in September. This will see customs dues scrapped on 98% of goods traded, and most restrictions and product quotas removed or revised.
