CHEC blacklisted in Bangladesh

China Harbor Engineering Company (CHEC), whose main business is building transport infrastructure, including ports, is no longer allowed to bid for contracts in Bangladesh. The government’s decision has been taken on the back of alleged payments (bribes) made to the country’s former secretary of state for communications, Muhammad Siddique.
