Barcelona rolls out truck booking

The Port of Barcelona (APB) has introduced a Port Booking System (PBS) for trucks, which will be introduced initially at BEST and APM Terminals’ TCB, and later at the multipurpose Terminal Port Nou. Hauliers can book entry/exit windows in advance, with the aim of rationalising the movement of vehicles, and giving advance warning of collection and delivery of containers.
