Dredging/reclamation works begin at Georgia’s Anaklia deepsea port

Dredging and reclamation work has commenced at the Georgian city of Anaklia where the Anaklia Development Consortium (ADC) is building a new deepsea port. The first phase of the port is scheduled to open in late 2020, and will have facilities capable of handling 900,000 TEU/year and 1.5 Mtpa of bulk cargo (mainly fertilisers).
