Nigerian corruption facing turning point?

The Nigeria Collective Action report, which was published by the Maritime Anti-Corruption Network (MACN) in July, found that some progress has
been made in tackling corruption at Nigerian ports over the past few years. Standardised port call and vessel clearance procedures have now been introduced, and the Nigerian Shippers Council has been given the powers to settle grievances.
