New highway for Addis Ababa?

The African Development Bank’s (AfDB) African Development Fund has agreed to provide a US$98M grant towards the cost of building the first phase of the planned four-lane highway between Addis Ababa and the Port of Djibouti. Phase 1 of the project will connect the Ethiopian towns
of Adama and Awash, and includes the design of a joint EthiopiaDjibouti border post to be built at Dewele.
