Rio Grande project
A project to build a new port in the Argentinean city of Rio Grande has emerged. The estimated cost of US$210M would be paid by a consortium of private sector companies interested in promoting trade in the area. The development would take place on a 200-ha site at the town of Estancia Las Violetas, to the north of Rio Grande.
