Traffic eases at Colombia’s ports

In H1 2023, the number of containers handled at Colombia’s main container ports declined by 2.9%. This reflected weaker economic growth in the region as inflation took its toll on both personal and corporate consumption. In Colombia itself, industrial production was down almost 3% on the corresponding period of 2022.
