Port of LA cuts China exposure
NewsThe Port of Los Angeles has decreased its business reliance on China from 57% in 2022 to the low-to-mid 40% by mid-2024, aiming to adapt to evolving trade policies and tariffs.
The Port of Los Angeles (LA), which is North America’s biggest box port, processed 13% fewer containers in 2023 than it did in 2022. A total 8.6M TEU was handled compared with 9.9M TEU in 2022.
