Margins remain tight for tank operators
Although tank container operators are reporting improved business activity in 2010 compared to last year, the rebound is coming from a low base. Freight rates dropped to record low levels in most regions in 2009 and at the same time tank operators have been hit with significant cost increases over the course of the past two years.
