Global tank container fleet reaches 848,400 units, growing 5.81%

The global tank container fleet now totals around 338,260 units, according to a new report by the International Tank Container Organisation (ITCO). The study also estimated that the output from the world’s 16 leading manufacturers in 2012 totalled 39,700 tanks, with the same builders on course to build a similar number this year.
