‘Largest cruise ferry’ on order for Irish Ferries link

Irish Continental Group plc (ICG) has reached an agreement worth €162.5M with Flensburger Schiffbau Gesellschaft (FSG) for the construction of a new cruise ferry, for operation on Irish Ferries’ Dublin-Holyhead route. With 5,610 lane metres and the ability to carry 330 freight units, the new vessel will have 50% more capacity than ICG’s ro-pax vessel ULYSSES
