Ethiopia opens its logistics sector

The Ethiopian Investment Board (EIB) has decided to “fully open up” the country’s logistics sector to foreign investors. The EIB, which comprises several government ministries and the National Bank of Ethiopia, has repealed various elements of the constitution’s Article 3.1(b), Regulation No. 270/2012 of the Investment Act that related to the logistics industry.
