Wallenius Wilhelmsen takes the strain of the train

Last month Wallenius Wilhelmsen Logistics (WWL) completed a major project on behalf of Hitachi when it shipped the last of 29 high speed trains sets from Japan to England. The last shipment arrived in Southampton from Kobe on board TAMESIS, one of WWL’s Mark IV PCTCs. In Southampton the trains were transloaded to standard rail tracks for hauling by DB Schenker Rail UK to Hitachi’s depot in Ashford, Kent.
