NewsDP World’s Antwerp Gateway is set to boost its daily rail container handling capacity by 100% thanks to a new Liebherr crane.
Steady as she goes for mobile cranes?
Based on reported figures from Gottwald (52), Liebherr (48) and Reggiane (34), the market for new harbour mobile cranes in 2001 topped 130 machines. To this figure should be added smaller cranes from niche companies such as Sennebogen and Mantsinen and suppliers such as Italgru which has made a comeback albeit in a small way.
