The Beirut Chamber of Shipping (BCS), which represents 50 Lebanese shipping agencies, has issued a stark warning to the government that it must allow the Beirut Port Authority to buy new quayside gantry cranes and other handling equipment, or risk losing traffic to other regional ports.
