Kalmar Port Machinery (Shanghai) Co Ltd’s new facility in the Waigaoqiao free trade zone (FTZ), initially intended as a parts distribution centre, was inaugurated as Kalmar’s first Chinese assembly facility in September. Between six and eight 4 x 2 terminal tractors can be assembled simultaneously.
