The market for used container handling machinery is currently strong and some equipment is even being sold through internet auctions. Port operators in Ho Chi Minh City, for example, report that good used RTGs are difficult to find and Ken Loh, Kalmar’s President Asian Operations says Pakistan and Bangladesh are emerging as good markets for used equipment.
