Huntsville goes remote

A Mi-Jack TraveLift RTG at the Port of Huntsville’s International Intermodal Centre (IIC) in Huntsville, Alabama is now operated by remote control. The inland facility initially operated the crane using a driver in the cab guided by a spotter on the ground, but then decided to let the groundsman control the machine with the remote control unit. An existing RMG crane was also converted to remote controlled operation when it was refurbished recently.
