Blue Ridge Connector inland rail port approved

Rapiscan Systems, the security division of US-based OSI Systems Inc, has received a US$29M order in from US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to provide multiple container and cargo vehicle inspection systems for customs inspections and security screening at various air and sea ports of entry.
The products to be provided include Rapiscan Eagle Mobile and fixed GaRDS Portal systems, which utilise both X-ray and gamma-ray technology to provide a comprehensive inspection solution for the detection of a wide variety of threats and contraband.
