Container seals raise the standard

Significant developments have taken place reecently within the container security industry, with Publicly Available Specification (PAS) 17712, defining mechanical seal strength and operation, now set to become an ISO standard and the fitting of mechanical seals due to become mandatory for all containers entering or exiting US ports from late 2005. There has even been a tentative move towards standardisation of electronic seal designs.
