The Container Industry Association’s (COA) annual general meeting in Rotterdam this month produced a lively discussion on why container owners are reluctant to accept waterborne coatings. This is a difficult topic for container manufacturers as they do not want to publicly criticise customers, but they are under growing pressure to reduce their own VOC emissions.
