New port automation test facility

Kalmar, part of Cargotec, is investing €3M in a new port automation testing and development platform at its Technology and Competence Centre in Tampere, Finland. This was opened progressively between 2011 and 2013 at a cost of €35M and has already been used to test Kalmar’s automated straddle carriers.
