Antwerp-Bruges and Namport to invest in hydrogen and ammonia export hub
NewsPort of Antwerp-Bruges partners with Namport to develop a EUR 250M hydrogen export hub in Walvis Bay, leveraging Namibia’s solar energy advantage.
The Port of Gothenburg (GHAB) and energy company Statkraft are planning to invest SEK60M (US$6.6M) in a green hydrogen (GH2) production facility at the port, with operations due to commence in 2023. A preliminary study is currently being conducted with the focus primarily on safety aspects. It is expected to be completed at the beginning of 2022.
