Intermodal traffic still on the rise

Second quarter 2000 rail intermodal traffic data released by the Intermodal Association of North America (IANA) show that total volume was up by 5.1 per cent over the corresponding period of 1999. Strong growth in container movements more than made up for a decline in trailer traffic
