MSC Aries crew released, says Iran

The Israeli authorities are considering a rail link between Eilat and Ashdod, thus creating an intermodal landbridge between the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea. The plan has gained new momentum following a review by US-based US Mercator Transport Group, which concluded that the scheme is workable and economically worthwhile.
