Toyota is said to be weighing the option of routing containerised CKD kits from Japan for its Shushary automobile assembly plant, near Saint Petersburg, via the TransSiberian landbridge. The plant started up last year and is due for completion this year, with a capacity to turn out 25,000 Toyota Camry cars a year.
