TransContainer, Russia’s leading rail intermodal company in which (following flotation) Russian Railways has a 50% plus one share, has acquired a 67% stake in Keden-TransService (KTS), up to now a wholly-owned logistics arm of Kazakh Railways (KTZ). KTS operates 17 terminals in Kazakhstan and owns a fleet of around 30 freight locomotives.
