CargoBeamer for VW Wolfsburg

A CargoBeamer horizontal mode transfer terminal is to be built at Volkswagen’s plant in Wolfsburg, Germany, to ship out semi-trailers with CKD components bound for Barcelona in Spain. Leipzigbased CargoBeamer is investing €2.5M in the project and unaccompanied rail service is due to start in the early part of this year.
