Kazakhstan to export rolling stock

Kazakhstan, traditionally heavily dependent on engine and railcar imports, is set to produce freight rolling stock for its own and export markets. It is estimated Central Asia’s largest country needs up to 53,000 freight wagons by 2020 due to substantial write-downs and retirement of available railcars.
