US-based Intella Parts Company has launched a range of STS spreader flipper actuators. According to Intella, the range covers replacement actuators for Bromma, RAM, ZPMC, Earls, and Mitsui spreaders, including the Bromma’s SB18 and SB18.2 actuators.

“The new models, engineered by Intella, address the most common complaint of terminal operators: hydraulic leaks. Traditional local rebuilds often fail to solve this issue due to the difficulty of sourcing proprietary seals. Intella’s upgraded actuators eliminate these challenges, providing a reliable solution that minimises downtime, prevents messy hydraulic leaks, and reduces overall costs for container terminals,” Itella stated.

In a statement to WorldCargo News, Intella declined to say which company manufacturers the actuators, other than that they are manufactured in the USA. The company sells the actuators directly to terminals, who typically do their own installation.

Intella is offering the actuators, along with its range of spare parts, to terminals globally. The company will be exhibiting at TOC Europe in Rotterdam.
