Salalah planning an extension
NewsA deal is being put together that would see APM Terminals get an extension on its concession in Salalah in return for investments in new equipment backed by a volume guarantee from Maersk.
Salalah FTZ deal
The Government of the Sultanate of Oman has named Salalah Port Services Company (SPS) as project manager for the proposed Salalah Port Free Zone, to be developed adjacent to Port Salalah. Dallas, Texas-based Hillwood Development has been named as the specialist developer for the project.
