Salalah planning an extension
NewsA deal is being put together that would see APM Terminals get an extension on its concession in Salalah in return for investments in new equipment backed by a volume guarantee from Maersk.
Bids in for Sohar
Seven consulting firms have bid for the contract to act as consultant for the operation and maintenance of the new Port of Sohar (Suh�r), in the north of Oman, where two berths are being built by STFA Consruction. The reclamation and dredging contract was earlier awarded to Hyundai Engineering & Construction.
