Durban upgrades ahead of new operator
NewsTransnet’s selection of ICTSI as a partner for the Durban Container Terminal Pier 2 faces challenges, but operational improvements are anticipated.
According to a report from ICTSI in Manila, community landowner groups in Lae in Papua New Guinea have signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the ICTSI Foundation and ICTSI subsidiary South Pacific International Container Terminal Ltd (SPICTL), as a necessary first step towards moving the joint ICTSI-community project in Lae. The MoA, which was signed together with AHI Investments Ltd and Labu Holdings Ltd, establishes a collaborative framework in support of ICTSI’s port project in Lae.
