Identec Solutions‘ terminal tracker goes live at Contecon Guayaquil S.A.

ICTSI company Contecon Guayaquil S.A. (CGSA) has implemented the terminal tracker supplied by Austria-based RFID and wireless sensor network provider Identec Solutions.

The terminal tracker provides increased visibility and real-time awareness of yard activities as it has the capability to deliver accurate stow positions, container weights, and other vital information to the Terminal Operating System (TOS), as explained by Identec Solutions.

The project was carried out in phases so as not to interfere with the day-to-day usage and operation of machines. The implementation started with a single Rubber-Tyred Gantry (RTG) crane and was gradually carried out across CGSA’s RTG fleet.
