3rd TT Club Innovation in Safety Award Finalists Announced

TT Club is once again proud to support ICHCA at this year’s 20/20 Cargo Vision Conference, hosted by Malta Freeport Terminals in Valletta between the 11 and 14 November. As the leading international insurer in the freight and cargo handling sector, TT Club enjoys a close and valuable partnership with ICHCA, bringing their joint insight and considerable experience to matters of safety and risk management to port and terminal operators globally.

In no particular order, the fives shortlistees are:

- Associated British Ports
- Global Container Terminals Canada
- Kuenz GmbH, CSXIT, Yardeye
- LINX Cargo Care Group
- Mediterranean Shipping Company

In addition to four days of meetings and presentations designed to develop mutual understanding, share experiences, examine new technologies and review appropriate policy and regulations, the winner and highly commended entries of the 3rd TT Club Innovation in Safety Award will be announced.

This TT Club-sponsored award aims to highlight the crucial importance of safety in the cargo handling sector and throughout the supply chain. Its aim is to recognise the efforts of so many companies and individuals around the world who are dedicated to ‘making it safe’ every day, and to acknowledge and foster innovation to improve safety in cargo operations and logistics.

The award will be presented by IMO Safety Director, Heike Deggim at the Official Reception on the evening of Tuesday 12 November.

TT Club recommends attendance at the Conference for all those wishing to explore how to create safer, more sustainable and secure maritime cargo operations across land and sea. The programme will include a presentation by TT Club’s Risk Management Director, Peregrine Storrs-Fox on Container Supply Chain Safety & Cargo Integrity. Read the full Conference Programme here.
