DP World has announced that it is in talks with the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) over the construction of new container and bulk terminals near Lagos, although the exact location does not yet seem to have been chosen. Statements from officials in Nigeria indicate that the project would involve the expansion of existing facilities, apparently the bulk terminal, as well as construction on a greenfield site, which appears to refer to the container terminal.
