Thomas Andersson is the new man at the helm at SHAB. The Port of Long Beach has a new chief terminal lease negotiator
On 1st December Thomas Andersson became the new Managing Director of Ports of Stockholm Ltd (SHAB). He replaced Johan Castwall, who has been appointed Executive Director of the City of Stockholm Development Administration, Exploateringskontoret.
The Long Beach Board of Harbor Commissioners has promoted Eamonn Killeen to lead the Real Estate Division. As such, he is responsible for generating revenue through leases of Port of Long Beach property and facilities and plays a crucial role in implementing environmental policies. Killeen has been with the Port of Long Beach since 2002.
Anthony Perea has been appointed Managing Director of the Liberian Corporate Registry, which is managed from the USA by the Liberian International Ship & Corporate Registry. Perea was previously Managing Director at global corporate and fiduciary services provider AMICORP.
In January, Rebecca Haggerty will become the Chief Audit Officer of the Port of Oakland.
Currently the Internal Audit Manager for Santa Clara County, Haggerty will direct operational and financial audits for all port offices and report to the Port Board. She succeeds Acting Chief Audit Officer Katherine Buckley who returns to her role as a Port Audit Manager.
Vanessa Stephens has announced that she is retiring from her post as Seatrade’s Global Events Director and Managing Director, Middle East and Indian Sub-Continent. Her role will be taken over by two people. Chris Morley will take up the post of Events Director, Maritime, while Karen Heasman will be responsible for Cruise.
Amsterdam and Paris: Joint shareholders Airbus SE and Safran have proposed to the Board of Directors of ArianeGroup that André-Hubert Roussel, currently Head of Operations at Airbus Defence and Space, succeeds Alain Charmeau as CEO of ArianeGroup, effective 1st January 2019. Charmeau will retire after a transition phase from 1st January to 31st March 2019, during which he will serve as Special Advisor to the new CEO.
Bremen, Germany: The owner-run logistics company Röhlig has restructured its Executive Board. The new Board is made up of: Philip W Herwig, Managing Partner & Chief Sales Officer; : Hylton Gray,CEO Air, Sea, Contract & Project Logistics; Ludger Körner, CFO; and Ulrike Baum, Chief HRO. The changes, says Röhlig, reflect its change from being a country-driven to a product-driven organisation.
UK-based Eurogate Logistics Ltd has appointed Tímea Viosz as Manager, Air and Sea, Hungary. The post is based in Budapest.
