Trelleborg has increased its presence in the global fender industry through Trelleborg Offshore & Construction’s acquisition of Houston-based Maritime International Inc. Richard Hepworth, president of Trelleborg’s marine systems operation, said: “We are committing significant resources to our business in North America… This acquisition strengthens our local presence and reinforces Trelleborg’s leading position globally.
