MSC to increase size gap, CMA CGM to surpass Maersk

Puertos del Estado, Spain’s national ports aency, has reported that the public ports of the mainland and islands handled a total of 410.45 mt of cargo in 2004, 7.97 per cent up on 2003. Container traffic increased by 11.1 per cent to 10.01 mill TEU. Breakbulk general cargo also rose, by 10.79 per cent to 153.13 mt.
