HHLA Q1 2024 profit declines
NewsHHLA’s Q1 2024 revenue and earnings declined due to global crises and the Red Sea conflict, with revenue down 0.3% and EBIT down 23.9%, resulting in a net loss of EUR 1.1 million.
HHLA, the Port of Hamburg’s biggest operator, has commenced a crane and straddle carrier training programme for four women at its biggest terminal, Container Terminal Burchardkai (CTB). About 20% of HHLA’s existing workforce are women but they are all in desk jobs – administration, ship planning, etc.
